They are the most brilliant and badass Conservatives on Tumblr. They don’t get the love and appreciation they deserve.

How can you not have ExtremeCapitalism and LOLingAtLiberals on this list?

… The latter is a Hitler fangirl. She’s friends with people who run Hitler blogs and has liked their posts about hating all Jews. Alon will back me up.

Exactly. Anyone who agrees with Hitler sympathizers or socialists are NOT welcome on my blog.

Mine neither. I’m not a fucking socialist or a Nazi. But ExtremeCapitalism is cool.

what.

LOLingAtLiberals is a Nazi sympathizer?! How did I not know this????

Text 2 Nov 17 notes Department of Defense Won’t Label Fort Hood Shooting a “Terrorist Attack” Despite Protests from 160 Victims. Instead it Remains Labeled “Workplace Violence” Which Prevents Benefits and Honors Going to the Victims

In the past month, many of the Fort Hood victims watched the Obama administration’s changing statements about the attacks on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi and apparent reticence to label the attack in Libya terrorism until weeks later and drew parallels to the government’s reaction to the assault in Texas.

After 160 victims of the Fort Hood, Texas, shooting called on the Pentagon to label the attack terrorism instead of workplace violence as it has for the past three years, the Department of Defense said it would not reclassify the attack.

The assault at Fort Hood left 13 dead and more than 30 wounded by gunshots, and officially designating the attack as terrorism would make service-member victims eligible for Purple Heart medals, and, the victims say, grant them access to medical care and benefits similar to what soldiers wounded in Iraq or Afghanistan would receive.

Nearly three years after the shootings, several government and separate independent investigations uncovered evidence that the FBI knew Maj. Hasan was emailing with al-Awlaki before the shootings and did nothing to intervene.

According to authorities, Maj. Hasan also followed al-Awlaki’s advice to scream “Allah akbar” (“God is great”) to invoke fear before starting to shoot.

“Workplace violence.” Are you fucking kidding me.

Text 2 Nov 84 notes Video: Romney “President Obama asked his supporters to vote for revenge. I’m asking the American people to vote for love of country”

poorrichardsnews:

The contrast of this race, summed up about as well as anybody could have…

Here’s the video:

Did you see what President Obama said today? He asked his supporters to vote for revenge…for revenge. Instead I ask the American people to vote for love of country.

Earlier today, President Obama told his supporters “voting is the best revenge.”

Text 2 Nov 10 notes I almost got in to an argument about Islam in my mentor’s office.

communismkills:

So I had a wonderful graduate student last year who was from the Netherlands and had less than great things to say about Muslim immigration.  He happened to be in my mentor’s office. A few minutes later, a smart-ass Gary Johnson supporter who DESPISES Christians walked in.

The topic happened to be Benghazi and the grad student asked about the Youtube video Obama blamed the attacks on. The Gary Johnson guy responded with, “It was a video that took quotes from the Quran out of context to make it seem like Muslims were barbarians, but in reality Islam is really a peaceful religion.”

I rolled my eyes and said, “They really showed that video wrong, huh?”

The grad student said he wanted no part of that conversation.

Islam is SO fucking full of peace and love and don’t you EVER fucking forget it or I will cut off your head and rape your dead corpse while parading it down the street and lighting American flags on fire! HALLELUJAH, I LOVE PEACE.

Text 1 Nov 33 notes “Racial Preferences”

moldy-onions:

iloveyou-butimlettinggo:

I get into a discussion on this topic quite frequently, especially with other gay men.  They will make comments like “I don’t find black guys attractive” or “I mostly prefer white men”, but they don’t seem to understand that these comments, on a subconscious level, are racist.

These preferences may seem innocent and harmless but they perpetuate a mindset within the gay community that associates value of one race over the value of others.   As a result, statements like “I don’t like asians” or “I’m not interested in black guys” have become prevalent comments on any dating application or website for gay men (e.g. grindr, jack’d, adam4adam, etc.).

If you can’t agree that those comments are racist, then we can hopefully at least agree that they are dehumanizing for people of color. And if your “preferences” are dehumanizing an entire race of people, then they’re not as harmless and innocent as you think.

The problem is not necessarily the individuals that have these preferences. The issue is the media, ESPECIALLY gay media, which overwhelmingly uses white men as the image that every gay man should aspire to be.

Don’t get me wrong, the issue of racial preferences in our community doesn’t only occur to fetishize white men/culture. There are gay men, less common than the aforementioned, who will only date certain races of color. This is just bad. It is sexual objectification and, which also has, in my opinion, extensive negative consequences.

We need to challenge what society tells us is attractive and understand that someone’s race is a superficial characteristic to judge someone by.

You’re looking for racism where there isn’t any.

Having preferences of physical characteristics is not racist.

I’m almost positive this only applies to white people. For instance, black people not wanting to date white people, Asians only wanting to date other Asians, Hispanics only wanting to date other Hispanics, etc…but nope, totally has nothing to do with cultural preference, it’s definitely racist!
